Weekend with Dada!

This past weekend was just me and Dad! Mommy went with some of her friends to the beach for a couple days, so we had a bachelor weekend! Here are some pictures...

Friday night, Dada and I went on a run looking for chicks... Who could refuse a guy in sunglasses???

Saturday morning we watched the British Open...I was glued to the TV!

Then Dada took me to Gymboree! But I really wanted him to play with me rather than take my picture!

After Gymboree, we met Grandmother for lunch. Even though Dada ordered me a kids sandwich, I really wanted her soup!

And then I figured out a better way to eat her soup! Dipping her bread in it!

Then Dada took me and bought me a surprise... Here I am helping him put it together...

Check it out! My new table! I can play on it and draw on it with my crayons! So cool!

Notice the other surprise that I snagged at the checkout lane...Elmo slippers!

The next morning I woke up early because I had so much fun. So Dada took me to Starbucks...but not without my Elmo slippers!!!

I had so much fun with Dada...Mommy said she missed me, but I had a really good time!

Summer Pictures

Mommy and YaYa took me to have my picture made. Mommy said she just wanted some "summer pictures"... So here are some of the highlights! (And no, I'm not wearing the same outfit as in my Easter pictures...Mommy just completely forgot and picked a similar outfit! Mommy was mad at herself, but I had no idea what she was talking about...)

This is my "innocent little boy" smile...boy, did I have that photographer fooled!

Another cute smile!
Pointing (with both hands if you look closely)...

The lady got out this ragged little monkey to try and make me laugh, but she had no idea that my best friend is my monkey "George" at home! So all I wanted to do after that was get the monkey!

Giggles...

In what the lady thought would be a great idea...a rocking chair...until I figured out that it rocked! So much for that...

More smiles...

Then we tried to do some "beach" pictures, but by then I remembered the really cool Lego table by the door when we came in. So I was really done with the whole picture taking thing...

I even tried to blow up the beach ball myself instead of playing with it for the picture...

And I tried carrying the shells out of the room, right after this picture...

Me with my funny laugh watching the monkey fall off the lady's head!

Running with the beach ball...

Yes, more running....

Body builder pose...

I did pretty well for being such a busy little boy though! And I got to play on the Lego table the whole time Mommy looked at all the pictures. I climbed on a few small chairs though, but mostly it was the Legos...

Colorado for the 4th!

I spent the 4th of July in Colorado with YaYa, Poppy, Granny and Grandmother. Of course, Mommy and Daddy were there too, but I didn't really notice...

Here I am at Best Buy before our big trip to try and find some kid headphones. Yeah...I really didn't like those at all once I got on the plane, but I was sure glad we went because I got to ride in this cool car!!!

We found the playground after we got there...it was right next to the swimming pool! Here I am playing peek-a-boo through the sides!

Then I got to go down the big slide! With a little help...

I had swimming lessons while I was there too! The first day Mommy took me and then the second day Poppy took me. I really don't like doing things when I'm told to do them, I wasn't too cooperative with the whole "kicking" thing...

My favorite part of my lesson was picking up the rings in the baby pool. It was just my height and I had to bend down to reach them...I was so good at it! Here I am posing on the steps with my rings.
After my lesson, YaYa and Poppy let me jump off the big kid slide before the big kids got there. I loved it! That was my favorite part of the pool!!! Here I go....

Yay!!!!

With all the fun I was having, Poppy said I had to "earn my keep"...whatever that means... So I helped him wash his motorcycle...boy, was that fun! I even got to use the water hose all by myself!!!
Then, we had to take out the garbage... I decided to carry it with me in my car so it wouldn't be so heavy...
This is me wearing two hats at the same time, playing with my train set on the deck! I had so much fun in Colorado...I played outside every day!
