Meeting Santa!!!

Well, I've been hearing about the guy up at the North Pole who's checking to see if I've been behaving this year... I thought Mommy and Daddy did enough of that! But, today I decided I needed to go and check this guy out...

This is my newest face - the surprise face - but I do it with anything new! I loved seeing all the other kids who were running around looking for Santa! A quick picture of me and YaYa getting ready to see the big guy in the red suit!

At first, I wasn't too fond of him and really wanted Mommy to get me...

But then I decided I needed to get a better look at this man who would be in charge of my Christmas presents! He was pretty funny looking if you ask me...

Mommy, (Great) Granny, YaYa and me after meeting Santa. I'm still in shock about that crazy red suit...

Me trying to run around like the big kids!

Taking a break on the couch...

Man, meeting a man from the North Pole really wears you out!

Hanging out in my new chair by the stockings!

Trying to pull the stockings down...and checking to see if Mommy was watching...

I'm Turning One!!!

I had a big first birthday party this past weekend! All kinds of family and friends came to celebrate me turning one! Here are a few pictures from the day of the party.

Great-Granddaddy (DaDa's Granddaddy) came all the way from North Carolina to celebrate with me! Here I am in my pj's telling him all about the big party we had planned for that night!

Even though it was my birthday party, Mommy said that I had to help clean up before everyone came! Since I LOVE the vacuum cleaner and the broom, I was more than happy to help!

Believe it or not, I started walking on the day of my party! I took a few big steps on my own for everyone to see! I was so proud of myself!!!

During the party, I took a small break to play in the "hippo" that my friend Cooper let me borrow! I love these!

Not too sure about this cake thing...

As you can see, it didn't take me long to figure it out though! (Notice all the red icing on my face!)

This is me showing Dada how to open presents!

These are my friends Clay and Katherine. But once I opened my "tool" set, Katherine decided she liked it too...but I wasn't too happy about someone else playing with my new toys!!! Here I am trying to steal them back!

Granddaddy, Poppy, me, Great-Granddaddy and Dada. What a handsome bunch!

Having so much fun at my party!

My First Thanksgiving!

I spent my first Thanksgiving in Colorado! I had so much fun at YaYa and Poppy's new house and with all the snow!

Let's get this show on the road!

Mmmmm....Poppy gave me some of his dessert... While Mommy wasn't watching...

So YaYa and Poppy put me in this thing they called a "sled"...but I wasn't so sure about all this...

Then I ate some snow...

Then Mommy got a little wild with the sled and dumped me right out! This is a picture of me after Daddy rescued me from the crazy driver! Snow everywhere!!!

Enjoying the snow!

Now I'm smiling!!!

Me and Auntie M having a little snack!

YaYa's Birthday!

I helped YaYa celebrate her birthday last month - she needed a lot of help opening her packages, so it's a good thing I was there!

Feeding the Ducks!

A few weeks ago YaYa and (Great) Granny took me to feed the ducks at the park! Here I am!

Me and Granny feeding the ducks! I loved them!

Brave enough to sit by myself!

Then I found a little kid park next to the lake where I could play! Too much fun with the ducks...on to airplanes!

Busy Boy!

I have been a busy little boy over the past few weeks! I can stand by myself and walk pretty well between the furniture. Still not ready for that first solo step though! Here's what I've been up to...

Playing peek-a-boo!

Having so much fun riding in my car outside!

It's been really cold here, so I've been wearing my puppy dog hat to keep my ears warm!

Here I am at Chili's with all my grandparents (even though you can't see them!). It took all four of them and a balloon to keep me entertained while Mommy and Daddy were out of town!

When the Cats played the Gators, Daddy snuck in my room and we changed into my Gator football uniform for the game! Here I am controlling the remote! Just like Daddy...

Mommy's friend Mrs. Brit let me borrow her little boy's walker. I've had so much fun with this! I can make all the toys work and even push it a little myself!

1st Halloween!

This was my first Halloween! I was a giraffe and was at home with Mommy, Daddy, YaYa, Poppy, Grandmother, Grandfather, Granny, "Uncle" David and "Aunt" Casey. We had fun Halloween food and I got to watch the trick or treaters come to the door! Here are a few pictures of me in my giraffe costume!

Check it out!!!

Here's a view of my tail!

Cute giraffe!

Mommy got skeleton cups for the adults, but I liked them more than they did!

My favorite part of the night was my ghost balloon! First, I was afraid of it, but by the end of the night I was having a ball! I was jumping up and down in my car to make it shake! What a fun Halloween! I'm already ready for next year!!!

"Running"

I'm a pretty good walker with a little help, but tonight I learned how to "run"!!! I had so much fun! I think I wore Mommy and Daddy completely out "running" up and down the hall!

Giggles

Now that I can move pretty quickly around the ottoman, Mommy and Daddy play tickle the baby every night with me! Check out these giggles! And keep a close eye on me...

Family Pictures

Mommy, Daddy and I went to visit Grandmommy and Granddaddy in North Carolina a few weeks ago and we took some family pictures. I wasn't very happy during the pictures, but I sure looked handsome!

Here we all are!

Me, Mommy and Daddy!

This was the only time I smiled during the pictures - when Mommy let me down so I could walk! Luckily, Mr. Anthony caught me with his camera!

I'm back!!!

I've been pretty busy so I haven't had much time to catch up on my blog...here are some recent pictures!

Auntie M sent me a little pumpkin and some bats for Halloween, so here I am checking them out!

Like my hat?!?!? I found Daddy's cigar in my pocket!

Hey, somebody has my toys!!!

Cooper, my neighbor, let me borrow his big inflatable hippo filled with plastic balls and I was just relaxing in them in the middle of the kitchen!

Here I am crawling THROUGH my exersaucer to get the ball! I'm into everything these days!
